I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling awarded from the University of Durham.

I specialise in addiction support and provide innovative and dynamic whole family recovery services using behavioural change models such as Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) Behavioural Couples’ Therapy (BCT) and the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) as part of my therapeutic work with individuals and groups.

My counselling ethos is that I view each person I meet as uniquely individual and with that work with the‘person’ rather than the ‘problem. I pride myself on my ability to offer a warm, caring empathetic and non judgemental service which over the years has brought about many successful outcomes for the people I work with.

George is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) receives ongoing clinical supervision and is fully insured to undertake private counselling practice .
